I'll try to include almost everything I listen to in here. Every genre, every band/artist. Only the ones that I think are worth mentioning, of course.
Music is something deeply important for me. It is my passion. Even when I was a child, I remember being very interested in almost anything related to music.
I think I've been making music for more than 2 years now (as of 2025). It might even be 3. I wasn't very passionate with it at the beginning since I thought I wouldn't be a good artist anyways, but I started not to care about that. And now, I just do what I love.
I recorded my very first track with Reaper. Then I started using trackers (OpenMPT) because I fell in love with the vibe it gave. Right now, I use FL Studio. I like the piano roll, what I don't like is that it's not supported on Linux. I hope it will be supported one day.
I don't really like downloading music because they take a lot of space. However, when I do, I prefer certain music players. I use Winamp and the OG Windows Media Player on Windows. I like the vibe they give. On Linux, I use Strawberry. It's extremely rich in terms of features and looks very good.
This band is ONE of my favorite bands ever. Their style is just amazing. I think they are one of a kind. I couldn't find a band similar to their style. I really wish there were more.
This band is also one of my favorites. I discovered them while I was looking for bands with a Lovecraftian theme. The first track I listened from them is Communion - Lovecraft's Death. I immediately fell in love with the band after that.
Alongside with having one of the coolest names ever, this band also makes one of the best symphonic death metal. As far as I can remember, I discovered them while playing osu!. I've been listening to them ever since. "King" is my favorite album by them.
This band is one of the first death metal bands that I truly loved. Actually, they are the first band in the playlist that I started making in 2021. Whenever I see a HM-2 pedal, I think of this band.
Now, this is going to sound weird... But I actually got into metal with Death and Black metal, and started listening to Thrash and other stuff after. And Mayhem was one of the bands that got me into Black metal. This band got quite a history. I was very interested in it. I remember liking their live and non-studio stuff more because I thought it had more "spirit". Now, I don't listen to it much, but I still like the band. I especially like "Cursed in Eternity". It's their best song IMO.
Darkthrone is my favorite black metal band. They were almost the only thing I listened to at some point. I almost never listen to them now (I don't listen to black metal in general right now), but they are still my favorite black metal band.
